Mariana Drexel Romo is passionate about medicine and engineering since she believes that the merge between these two worlds is the key to helping millions of people with health disabilities around the world. She’s currently pursuing a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering at Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education and joined Zhang Laboratory in July 2018 as a visiting undergraduate student to work on bioprinting and chaotic 3D printing. She is interested in rehabilitation and tissue engineering, and biomaterials. On her spare time, she likes to bake.
