Zhang Laboratory
Montserrat Pérez is a Biotechnology Engineering student at ITESM in Monterrey, Mexico. She was involved in a culture optimization protocol for Chlorococcum littorale in the Centro del Agua para América y el Caribe. On 2017, she also worked on testing and optimization of a experimental protocol for Tillandsia usneoides preservation for Posagro, a national company, as an intern. She joined Zhang Laboratory in February 2018 as a visiting undergraduate student. She is currently interested in tissue engineering and bioprocesses.
